The Lord Gives Dominion to the King.

A Psalm of David.

aThe Lord says to my Lord:
bSit at My right hand
Until I make cYour enemies a footstool for Your feet.”

The Lord will stretch forth Your strong ascepter from Zion, saying,
bRule in the midst of Your enemies.”

Your apeople 1will volunteer freely in the day of Your 2power;
bIn 3holy array, from the womb of the dawn,
4Your youth are to You as the cdew.

aThe Lord has sworn and will bnot 1change His mind,
“You are a cpriest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”

The Lord is aat Your right hand;
He 1will bshatter kings in the cday of His wrath.

He will ajudge among the nations,
He 1will fill them with bcorpses,
He 2will cshatter the 3chief men over a broad country.

He will adrink from the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He will blift up His head.
