God’s Name Is Great in Israel

God is aknown in Judah;
His name is bgreat in Israel.
2 So His atabernacle is in bSalem;
His cdwelling place is in Zion.
3 There He abroke the flaming arrows,
The shield and the sword and the battle. Selah.
4 You are shining,
Majestic from the mountains of prey.
5 The astouthearted were plundered,
They sank into sleep;
And none of the warriors could use his hands.
6 At Your arebuke, O God of Jacob,
Both bchariot rider and horse slumbered into a deep sleep.
7 But You, You are afearsome;
And bwho can stand in Your presence when once You are angry?
8 You made Your cause to be heard from heaven;
The earth afeared and was quiet
9 When God aarose to judgment,
To save all the humble of the earth. Selah.
10 For the awrath of man shall praise You;
With a remnant of wrath You will gird Yourself.
11 aMake vows to Yahweh your God and bpay them;
Let all who are around Him cbring gifts to the Fearsome One.
12 He will cut off the spirit of princes;
He is afeared by the kings of the earth.
