You Are a Priest Forever
Of David. A Psalm.
aYahweh says to my Lord:
“bSit at My right hand
Until I put cYour enemies as a footstool for Your feet.”
2 Yahweh will stretch forth Your strong ascepter from Zion, saying,
“bHave dominion in the midst of Your enemies.”
3 Your apeople will offer themselves freely in the day of Your power;
bIn the splendor of holiness, from the womb of the dawn,
The cdew of Your youthfulness will be Yours.
4 aYahweh has sworn and will bnot change His mind,
“You are a cpriest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”
5 The Lord is aat Your right hand;
He will bcrush kings in the cday of His anger.
6 He will arender justice among the nations,
He will fill them with bcorpses,
He will ccrush the head that is over the wide earth.
7 He will adrink from the brook by the wayside;
Therefore He will blift up His head.
