Psalm 42:7

Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls;

All Your ^abreakers and Your waves have rolled over me.

Psalm 42:8

By day, Yahweh will ^acommand His lovingkindness;

And ^bby night, His song will be with me,

A prayer to ^cthe God of my life.

Has God ^aforgotten to be gracious,

Or has He in anger shut up His ^bcompassion? Selah.

Then I said, “^aIt is my ¹grief,

That the ^bright hand of the Most High has changed.”

“¹For a ^abrief moment I forsook you,

But with great compassion I will ^bgather you.

In ¹a ^aflood of fury

I hid My face from you for a moment,

But with everlasting ^blovingkindness I will ^chave compassion on you,”

Says Yahweh your ^dRedeemer.
