Psalm 9:1-6

For the choir director. ¹Almuth-labben. A Psalm of David.

²I will give thanks to Yahweh with all ^amy heart;

I will ^brecount all Your ³wondrous deeds.

I will be glad and ^aexult in You;

I will ^bsing praise to Your name, O ^cMost High.

When my enemies turn back,

They stumble and ^aperish before You.

For You have ^amaintained my ¹justice and my cause;

You have sat on the throne ²^bjudging righteously.

You have ^arebuked the nations, You have made the wicked perish;

You have ^bblotted out their name forever and ever.

¹The enemy has come to an end in perpetual ²ruins,

And You have uprooted the cities;

The very ^amemory of them has perished.
