Psalm 8:5

Yet You have made him a ^alittle lower than the ¹angels,

And ^bYou crown him with ^cglory and majesty!

Psalm 8:6

You make him to ^arule over the works of Your hands;

You have ^bput all things under his feet,

Of David. A Psalm.

^aYahweh says to my Lord:

“^bSit at My right hand

Until I put ^cYour enemies as a footstool for Your feet.”

He will ^adrink from the brook by the wayside;

Therefore He will ^blift up His head.

18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “^aAll authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

26 ^aWas it not necessary for the ¹Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?”

27 and He gave Him authority to ^aexecute judgment, because He is ¹the Son of Man.

17 For this reason the Father loves Me, because I ^alay down My life so that I may take it again.
