The holy cdwelling places of the Most High.

5
God is ain the midst of her, she will not be shaken;

The City of Our God

A Song. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

aGreat is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised,
In the bcity of our God, His choly mountain.

2
aBeautiful in elevation, bthe joy of the whole earth,
Is Mount Zion in the far north,
The ccity of the great King.

3
God, in her palaces,
Has made Himself known as a astronghold.

4
For, behold, the akings assembled themselves,
They passed by together.

5
They saw it, then they were astonished;
They were adismayed, they 1fled in alarm.

6
1Panic seized them there,
Anguish, as of aa woman in childbirth.

7
With the aeast wind
You bbreak the cships of Tarshish.

8
As we have heard, so have we seen
In the city of Yahweh of hosts, in the city of our God;
God will aestablish her forever. 1Selah.

9
We have thought on aYour lovingkindness, O God,
In the midst of Your temple.

10
As is Your aname, O God,
So is Your bpraise to the ends of the earth;
Your cright hand is full of righteousness.

11
Let Mount aZion be glad,
Let the adaughters of Judah rejoice
Because of Your judgments.

12
Walk about Zion and go around her;
Count her atowers;

13
Consider her aramparts;
Go through her palaces,
That you may brecount it to the next generation.

14
For this is God,
Our God forever and ever;
He will aguide us 1over death.

Psalm 87:1-7

His afoundation is in the holy mountains.

2
Yahweh aloves the gates of Zion
More than all the dwelling places of Jacob.

3
aGlorious things are spoken of you,
O bcity of God. 1Selah.

4
“I shall mention 1aRahab and Babylon among those who know Me;
Behold, Philistia and bTyre with 2cEthiopia:
‘This one was born there.’”

5
But of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”;
And the Most High Himself will aestablish her.

6
Yahweh will count when He aregisters the peoples,
“This one was born there.” Selah.

7
And asingers, just like the bdancers, will all say,
“All my csprings are in you.”
