Psalm 44:23

^aArouse Yourself, why ^bdo You sleep, O Lord?

Awake, ^cdo not reject us forever.

Jeremiah 14:9

Why are You like a man confused,

Like a mighty man who ^acannot save?

Yet ^bYou are in our midst, O Yahweh,

And we are ^ccalled by Your name;

Do not leave us!”

For the choir director. According to ¹Aijeleth Hashshahar. A Psalm of David.

^aMy God, my God, why have You forsaken me?

²^bFar from my salvation are the words of my ³^cgroaning.

O my God, I ^acall by day, but You do not answer;

And by night, but ¹I have no rest.
