Psalm 37:34-38

^aHope for Yahweh and keep His way,

And He will exalt you to inherit the land;

When the ^bwicked are cut off, you will see it.

I have ^aseen a wicked, ruthless man

Spreading himself like a ^bluxuriant ¹tree in its native soil.

Then ¹he passed away, and behold, he ^awas no more;

I sought for him, but he could not be found.

Observe the ¹^ablameless man, and behold the ^bupright;

For the man of peace will have ²a ^cposterity.

But transgressors will be altogether ^adestroyed;

The ¹posterity of the wicked will be ^bcut off.

Psalm 58:10

The ^arighteous will be glad when he ^bbeholds the vengeance;

He will ^cwash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

And men will say, “Surely there is a ¹^areward for the righteous;

Surely there is a God who ^bjudges ²on earth!”
