10 There were those who ainhabited darkness and the shadow of death,
bPrisoners in affliction and irons,
11 Because they had arebelled against the words of God
And bspurned the ccounsel of the Most High.
12 So He subdued their heart with labor;
They stumbled and there was anone to help.
13 Then they acried out to Yahweh in their trouble;
He saved them out of their distresses.
14 He abrought them out of darkness and the shadow of death
And bbroke their bands apart.
15 aLet them give thanks to Yahweh for His lovingkindness,
And for His wondrous deeds to the sons of men!
16 For He has ashattered the doors of bronze
And cut through the bars of iron.
