Psalm 34:11-22

^aCome, you children, listen to me;

^bI will teach you ^cthe fear of Yahweh.

^aWho is the man who delights in life

And loves many days that he may ^bsee good?

Guard ^ayour tongue from evil

And your lips from speaking ^bdeceit.

^aDepart from evil and do good;

Seek peace and ^bpursue it.

The ^aeyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous

And His ears are open to their cry for help.

The ^aface of Yahweh is against evildoers,

To ^bcut off the memory of them from the earth.

The righteous ^acry, and Yahweh hears

And delivers them out of all their troubles.

Yahweh ^ais near to the ^bbrokenhearted

And saves those who are ¹^ccrushed in spirit.

^aMany are the ^bevils against the righteous,

But Yahweh ^cdelivers him out of them all.

He keeps all his bones,

^aNot one of them is broken.

^aEvil shall slay the wicked,

And those who hate the righteous will be ¹condemned.

Yahweh ^aredeems the soul of His slaves,

And all those who ^btake refuge in Him will not be ¹condemned.
