3 Though a ahost encamp against me,
My heart will not fear;
Though war arise against me,
In this I btrust.
4 aOne thing I have asked from Yahweh, that I shall seek:
That I may bdwell in the house of Yahweh all the days of my life,
To behold cthe beauty of Yahweh
And to dinquire in His temple.
5 For in the aday of calamity He will bconceal me in His shelter;
In the secret place of His tent He will chide me;
He will dlift me up on a rock.
6 And now amy head will be lifted up above my enemies around me,
And I will offer in His tent bsacrifices with loud shouts of joy;
I will csing, and I will sing praises to Yahweh.
7 aHear, O Yahweh, when I call with my voice,
And be gracious to me and banswer me.
8 On Your behalf my heart says, “aSeek My face,”
“Your face, O Yahweh, bI shall seek.”
9 aDo not hide Your face from me,
Do not turn Your slave away in banger;
You have been cmy help;
dDo not abandon me and do not eforsake me,
O God of my salvation!
