Then the ^afifth angel sounded. Then I saw a ^bstar from heaven which had fallen to the earth, and the ^ckey of the ^dpit of the abyss was given to him.

2 And he opened the pit of the abyss and ^asmoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace, and ^bthe sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit.

18 A ^athird of ¹mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the ^bfire and the smoke and the ²brimstone which came out of their mouths.
