Jeremiah 5:30

“A horrible and ^aappalling thing

Has happened in the land:

Jeremiah 23:14

Also among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen an ^aappalling thing:

The committing of ^badultery and walking in lying;

And they strengthen the hands of ^cevildoers,

So that no one has turned back from his evil.

All of them have become to Me like ^dSodom,

And her inhabitants like Gomorrah.

In the house of Israel I have seen an ^aappalling thing;

Ephraim’s ^bharlotry is there; Israel has defiled itself.

Be appalled, ^aO heavens, at this,

And be horribly afraid, be very devastated,” declares Yahweh.
