Jeremiah 31:35

35 Thus says Yahweh,

Who ^agives the sun for light by day

And the statutes for the moon and the stars for light by night,

Who ^bstirs up the sea so that its waves roar;

^cYahweh of hosts is His name:

Jeremiah 31:36

“^aIf these statutes are removed

From before Me,” declares Yahweh,

“Then the seed of Israel also will ^bcease

From being a nation before Me ¹forever.”

While all the days of the earth remain,

Seedtime and harvest,

And cold and heat,

And ^asummer and winter,

And ^bday and night

Shall not cease.”

Yours is the day, Yours also is the night;

¹You have ^aestablished the ²light and the sun.

¹You have ^acaused all the boundaries of the earth to stand firm;

¹You have formed ^bsummer and winter.
