Jeremiah 7:21

21 Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, “Add your ^aburnt offerings to your sacrifices and ^beat flesh.

Psalm 50:7-9

“^aHear, O My people, and I will speak;

O Israel, I will testify ¹against you;

I am God, ^byour God.

I do ^anot reprove you for your sacrifices,

And your burnt offerings are continually before Me.

I shall take no ^ayoung bull out of your house

Nor male goats out of your folds.

“^aWhat are your multiplied sacrifices to Me?”

Says Yahweh.

“I ¹have had enough of burnt offerings of rams

And the fat of fed cattle;

And in the blood of bulls, lambs, or goats ²I take no pleasure.

^aWith what shall I come before Yahweh

And bow myself before the God on high?

Shall I come before Him with ^bburnt offerings,

With yearling calves?
