10 Then I said, “Ah, Lord Yahweh! Surely You have utterly adeceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, ‘bYou will have peace’; whereas a sword touches the throat.”
Jeremiah 8:11
11 They aheal the brokenness of the daughter of My people superficially,
Saying, ‘Peace, peace,’
But there is no peace.

Lying Prophets
13 But, “Ah, Lord Yahweh!” I said, “Behold, the prophets are saying to them, ‘You awill not see the sword nor will you have famine, but I will give you true bpeace in this place.’”

Ezekiel 13:5
5 You have not agone up into the bbreaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the cday of Yahweh.
Ezekiel 13:10
10 It is definitely because they have amisled My people by saying, ‘bPeace!’ when there is cno peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash;
Ezekiel 22:28
28 And her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, beholding aworthless visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says Lord Yahweh,’ when Yahweh has not spoken.
