Jeremiah 18:20

^aShould good be repaid with evil?

For they have ^bdug a pit for ¹me.

Remember how I ^cstood before You

To speak good on their behalf,

So as to turn away Your wrath from them.

Psalm 57:6

They have ¹set a ^anet for my steps;

My soul is ^bbowed down;

They ^cdug a pit before me;

They themselves have ^dfallen into the midst of it. Selah.

The arrogant have ^adug pits for me,

Men who are not ¹in accord with Your law.
