23 And he said, “Why will you go to him today? It is neither ^anew moon nor sabbath.” And she said, “It is well.”

Amos 8:5

5 saying,

“When will the ^anew moon pass over,

So that we may sell grain,

And the ^bsabbath, that we may open the wheat market,

To make the ¹bushel smaller and the ²shekel bigger,

And to ^ccheat with a deceptive balance,

21 For from ancient generations, ^aMoses has those who preach him in every city, since ¹he is read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
