1 Samuel 3:11-14

« 1 Sam 21 Sam 31 Sam 4 »

11 And Yahweh said to Samuel, “Behold, ^aI am about to do a thing in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle. 12 In that day ^aI will establish against Eli all that I have spoken concerning his house, from beginning to end. 13 And ^aI have told him that I am about to judge his house forever for ^bthe iniquity which he knew because ^chis sons have been bringing a curse on themselves, but ^dhe did not rebuke them. 14 Now therefore I have sworn to the house of Eli that ^athe iniquity of Eli’s house shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever.”
