Job 23:6

Would He contend with me by ^athe greatness of His power?

No, surely He would pay attention to me.

Psalm 6:1

For the choir director. With stringed instruments. According to the ¹Sheminith. A Psalm of David.

O Yahweh, ^ado not reprove me in Your anger,

Nor discipline me in Your wrath.

^aDiscipline me, O Yahweh, but with justice;

Not with Your anger, lest You ¹bring me to nothing.

For ^aI am with you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘to save you;

For I will ^bmake a complete destruction of all the nations where I have scattered you,

Only I will ^cnot make a complete destruction of you.

But I will ^dchasten you justly

And will by no means leave you unpunished.’

O Jacob My servant, do not fear,” declares Yahweh,

“For ^aI am with you.

For I will make a complete destruction of all the nations

Where I have banished you,

Yet I will ^bnot make a complete destruction of you;

But I will ^cdiscipline you with justice

And by no means leave you unpunished.”
