Isaiah 23:12

So He said, “^aYou shall exult no more, O crushed virgin daughter of Sidon.

Arise, pass over to ¹^bCyprus; even there you will find no rest.”

Jeremiah 18:13

13 “Therefore thus says Yahweh,

‘^aAsk now among the nations,

Who ever heard the like of ¹this?

The ^bvirgin of Israel

Has done a most ^cappalling thing.

^aAgain I will build you, and you will be rebuilt,

O virgin of Israel!

Again you will ¹take up your ^btambourines

And go forth to the dances of those ^ccelebrating.

“Set up roadmarks for yourself,

Place for yourself guideposts;

^aSet your heart to the highway,

The way by which you went.

^bReturn, O virgin of Israel,

Return to these your cities.

What shall I testify about you?

To what ^ashall I equate you,

O daughter of Jerusalem?

To what shall I liken you as I comfort you,

O ^bvirgin daughter of Zion?

For your ¹destruction is as vast as the sea;

Who can ^cheal you?
