Isaiah 64:7

There is ^ano one who calls on Your name,

Who awakens himself to take hold of You,

For You have ^bhidden Your face from us

And have ¹melted us into the hand of our iniquities.

Jeremiah 29:13

13 You will ^aseek Me and find Me when you ^bsearch for Me with all your heart.

^aWoe to those who are at ease in Zion

And to those who feel secure in the mountain of Samaria,

The ^bdistinguished men of the first of the nations,

To whom the house of Israel comes.

Those who lie down on beds of ivory

And sprawl on their ^acouches

And ^beat lambs from the flock

And calves from the midst of the stall,

And ^athey do not cry out to Me in their heart

When they wail on their beds;

For the sake of grain and new wine they ¹^bgather together as sojourners;

They ^cdepart from Me.
