Isaiah 64:10

Your ^aholy cities have become a ^bwilderness;

Zion has become a wilderness,

Jerusalem a desolation.

Isaiah 64:11

Our holy and glorious ^ahouse,

Where our fathers praised You,

Has been burned by fire;

And ^ball our precious things have become a waste place.

And now its ^acarved work altogether

They smash with hatchet and ¹hammers.

They have ^aset Your sanctuary on fire;

By bringing it to the ground, they have ^bdefiled the dwelling place of Your name.

They ^asaid in their heart, “Let us ¹completely ²subdue them.”

They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.
