Isaiah 35:8

^aAnd a ¹roadway will be there, ^ba highway,

And it will be called the Highway of ^cHoliness.

The unclean will not pass by on it,

But it will be for him who walks in that way,

And ^dignorant fools will not wander on it.

Isaiah 40:3

^aA voice ¹is calling,

“^bPrepare the way for Yahweh in the wilderness;

Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.

Let every valley be lifted up,

And every mountain and hill be made low;

And let the rough ground become a plain,

And the rugged terrain a broad valley;

Go through, ^ago through the gates,

Clear the way ¹for the people;

^bBuild up, build up the ^chighway,

Remove the stones, raise up a ^dstandard over the peoples.

Behold, Yahweh has ¹announced to the ^aend of the earth,

^bSay to the daughter of Zion, “Behold, your ^csalvation comes;

^dBehold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.”
