Isaiah 35:6-8

Then the ^alame will leap like a deer,

And the ^btongue of the mute will shout for joy.

For waters will break forth in the ^cwilderness

And streams in the ¹Arabah.

Then the ¹scorched land will become a pool

And the thirsty ground ^asprings of water;

In the ^bhaunt of jackals, its resting place,

Grass becomes reeds and rushes.

^aAnd a ¹roadway will be there, ^ba highway,

And it will be called the Highway of ^cHoliness.

The unclean will not pass by on it,

But it will be for him who walks in that way,

And ^dignorant fools will not wander on it.

Isaiah 43:19

Behold, I will do something ^anew;

Now it will spring forth;

Will you not know it?

I will even ^bmake a roadway in the wilderness,

Rivers in the wasteland.

They will ^anot hunger or thirst,

Nor will the scorching ^bheat or sun strike them down;

For ^cHe who has compassion on them will ^dguide them

And will lead them to ^esprings of water.

I will set all ^aMy mountains as a road,

And My ^bhighways will be raised up.
