Now it will be that

The ^bmountain of the house of Yahweh

Will be established ¹as the head of the mountains,

And will be lifted up above the hills;

And ^call the nations will stream to it.

Israel’s Restoration and Dominion

When Yahweh will ^ahave compassion on Jacob and again ^bchoose Israel, and ¹put them in their own land, then ^csojourners will join them and attach themselves to the house of Jacob.

2 And the peoples will take them along and bring them to their place, and the ^ahouse of Israel will possess them as an inheritance in the land of Yahweh ^bfor their male and female slaves; and ¹they will take their captors captive and will have dominion over their taskmasters.

18 In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will be speaking the language of Canaan and ^aswearing allegiance to Yahweh of hosts; one will be called the City of ¹Destruction.
19 In that day there will be an ^aaltar to Yahweh in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a ^bpillar to Yahweh near its border. 20 And it will become a sign and a witness to Yahweh of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to Yahweh because of oppressors, and He will send them a ^aSavior and a ¹^bChampion, and He will deliver them. 21 Thus Yahweh will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know Yahweh in that day. They will even worship with ^asacrifice and offering, and they will make a vow to Yahweh and pay it. 22 And Yahweh will smite Egypt, smiting but ^ahealing; so they will ^breturn to Yahweh, and He will be moved by their entreaty and will heal them.

^aNations will come to your light,

And kings to the brightness of your rising.

“^aLift up your eyes round about and see;

They all gather together; they ^bcome to you.

Your sons will come from afar,

And your ^cdaughters will be ¹carried on the nurses’ hip.

Then you will see and be ^aradiant,

And your heart will tremble and be large with joy;

Because the ^babundance of the sea will be turned to you,

The ^cwealth of the nations will come to you.

A multitude of camels will cover you,

The young camels of Midian and ^aEphah;

All those from ^bSheba will come;

They will bring ^cgold and frankincense,

And will ^dbear good news of the praises of Yahweh.

All the flocks of ^aKedar will be gathered together to you;

The rams of Nebaioth will minister to you;

They will go up with acceptance on My ^baltar,

And I shall ¹^cadorn My ²glorious house with beautiful glory.

^aWho are these who fly like a cloud

And like the doves to their ¹lattices?

Surely the ^acoastlands will hope in Me;

And the ^bships of Tarshish will come first,

To ^cbring your sons from afar,

Their silver and their gold with them,

For the name of Yahweh your God,

And for the Holy One of Israel because He has ¹^dadorned you with beautiful glory.

“^aForeigners will build up your walls,

And their ^bkings will minister to you;

For in My ^cwrath I struck you,

And in My favor I have had compassion on you.

Your ^agates will be open continually;

They will not be closed day or night,

So that men may ^bbring to you the wealth of the nations,

With ^ctheir kings led in procession.

For the ^anation and the kingdom which will not serve you will perish,

And the nations will surely be laid waste.

The ^aglory of Lebanon will come to you,

The ^bjuniper, the box tree, and the cypress together,

To adorn the place of My sanctuary with beautiful glory;

And I shall make the ^cplace of My feet glorious.

The ^asons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you,

And all those who spurned you will bow themselves at the soles of your feet;

And they will call you the ^bCity of Yahweh,

The ^cZion of the Holy One of Israel.

And their princesses your nurses.

They will ^bbow down to you with their ¹faces to the earth

And ^click the dust of your feet;

And you will ^dknow that I am Yahweh;
