Isaiah 13:11

Thus I will ^apunish the world for its evil

And the ^bwicked for their iniquity;

I will also put an end to the ^cpride of the arrogant

And bring low the ^dlofty pride of the ¹^eruthless.

Isaiah 14:11

Your ^apride and the music of your harps

Have been brought down to Sheol;

Maggots are spread out as your bed beneath you

And worms are your covering.’

Yet you said, ‘I will be a ^aqueen forever.’

These things you did not ^bput on your heart

Nor remember the ^coutcome of ¹them.

“So now, hear this, you ^asensual one,

Who ^bsits securely,

Who says in ¹your heart,

‘^cI am, and there is no one besides me.

I will ^dnot sit as a widow,

Nor know loss of children.’
