Ecclesiastes 2:21-23
21 When there is a man who has labored with wisdom, knowledge, and askill, then he bgives his portion to one who has not labored with them. This too is vanity and a great evil. 22 For what does a man get in aall his labor and in the striving of his heart with which he labors under the sun? 23 Because all his days his endeavor is painful and avexing; even at night his heart bdoes not lie down. This too is vanity.
1 Timothy 6:9
9 aBut those who want to get rich fall into temptation and ba snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
1 Timothy 6:10
10 For athe love of money is a root of all sorts of evils, and some by aspiring to it have bwandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
1 Timothy 6:17
17 Command those who are rich in athis present age bnot to be haughty or to cset their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, dwho richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
