29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel, ¹^aTiglath-pileser king of Assyria came and took Ijon and Abel-beth-maacah and Janoah and Kedesh and Hazor and Gilead and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali; and ^bhe took them away into exile to Assyria.

26 So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of ^aPul, king of Assyria, even the spirit of ¹Tilgath-pilneser, king of Assyria, and he ^btook them away into exile, namely the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and brought them to Halah, Habor, Hara, and to the river of Gozan, to this day.
