Proverbs 11:14

Where there is no ^aguidance the people fall,

But in abundance of counselors there is salvation.

Proverbs 15:22

Without consultation, ¹plans are frustrated,

But with many counselors they ²succeed.

He who ^aresponds with a word before he hears,

It is folly and shame to him.

Also it is not good for a person to be without knowledge,

And he who hurries ¹^ahis footsteps sins.

Counsel in the heart of a man is like deep water,

But a man of discernment draws it out.

¹^aThoughts are established by counsel,

So ^bmake war by guidance.

A wicked man ¹^adisplays a brazen face,

But as for the ^bupright, he establishes his way.

A ^aprudent man sees evil and hides,

But the simple pass on, and are punished.

Do not go out ^ahastily to plead your case;

Lest, what will you do in ¹the end,

When your neighbor humiliates you?

^aPlead your case with your neighbor,

And ^bdo not reveal the secret of another,

Lest he who hears it bring disgrace upon you,

And the bad report about you will not turn away.
