Mark 14:12-26

The Passover Meal

12 aAnd on the first day of bUnleavened Bread, when 1the Passover lamb was being csacrificed, His disciples *said to Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare for You to eat the Passover?”
13 And He *sent two of His disciples and *said to them, “Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him; 14 and wherever he enters, say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is My aguest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’ 15 And he himself will show you a large upper room furnished and ready; prepare for us there.” 16 And the disciples went out and came to the city, and found it just as He had told them; and they prepared the Passover.
17 aAnd when it was evening He *came with the twelve.
18 And as they were reclining at the table and eating, Jesus said, “Truly I say to you that one of you will 1betray Me—the one who is eating with Me.” 19 They began to be grieved and to say to Him one by one, “Surely not I?” 20 And He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, the one who dips with Me in the bowl. 21 For the Son of Man is to go just as it is written of Him; but woe to that man 1by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good 2for that man if he had not been born.”

The Lord’s Supper

22 aAnd while they were eating, He took some bread, and 1after a bblessing, He broke it, and gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is My body.”
23 And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. 24 And He said to them, “This is My ablood of the bcovenant, which is poured out for many. 25 Truly I say to you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”
26 aAnd after singing a hymn, they went out to bthe Mount of Olives.

Luke 22:7-23

The Passover Meal

7 aThen came the first day of Unleavened Bread on which bthe Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.
8 And Jesus sent aPeter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat it.” 9 And they said to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare it?” 10 And He said to them, “Behold, after you have entered the city, a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him into the house that he enters. 11 And you shall say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’ 12 And he will show you a large, furnished upper room; prepare it there.” 13 And they left and found everything just as He had told them; and they prepared the Passover.

The Lord’s Supper

14 aAnd when the hour had come, He reclined at the table, and bthe apostles with Him.
15 And He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16 for I say to you, I shall never again eat it auntil it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” 17 aAnd when He had taken a cup and bgiven thanks, He said, “Take this and share it among yourselves. 18 For aI say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.” 19 And when He had taken some bread and agiven thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.” 20 And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is apoured out for you is the bnew covenant in My blood. 21 aBut behold, the hand of the one betraying Me is with Me on the table. 22 For indeed, the Son of Man is going aas it has been determined; but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!” 23 And they began to argue among themselves which one of them it might be who was going to do this thing.

John 13:1-3

The Lord’s Supper

Now before the Feast of athe Passover, Jesus knowing that bHis hour had come that He would depart out of this world cto the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them 1to the end.
2 And during supper, athe devil having already put into the heart of bJudas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him, 3 Jesus, aknowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that bHe had come forth from God and was going back to God,

John 13:10

10 Jesus *said to him, “He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and ayou are clean, but not all of you.”

John 13:11

11 For aHe knew the one who was betraying Him; for this reason He said, “Not all of you are clean.”

John 13:18-30

18 aI do not speak about all of you. I know the ones I have bchosen; but cthat the Scripture may be fulfilled, ‘dHe who eats My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.’ 19 From now on aI am telling you before it occurs, so that when it does occur, you may believe that bI am He. 20 Truly, truly, I say to you, ahe who receives anyone I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”

Jesus Predicts His Betrayal

21 When Jesus had said these things, He abecame troubled in spirit, and bore witness and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, that bone of you will 1betray Me.”
22 The disciples began looking at one another, aperplexed about whom He *spoke. 23 There was reclining on aJesus’ bosom one of His disciples, bwhom Jesus loved. 24 So Simon Peter *gestured to him to inquire, “Who is the one of whom He is speaking?” 25 He, aleaning back thus on Jesus’ bosom, *said to Him, “Lord, who is it?” 26 Jesus *answered, “He is the one for whom I shall dip the piece of bread and give it to him.” So when He had dipped the piece of bread, He *took and *gave it to Judas, athe son of Simon Iscariot. 27 And after the piece of bread, aSatan then bentered into him. Therefore Jesus *said to him, “What you do, do quickly.” 28 Now no one of those reclining at the table knew for what purpose He had said this to him. 29 For some were thinking, because Judas ahad the money box, that Jesus was saying to him, “Buy the things we have need of bfor the feast”; or else, that he should cgive something to the poor. 30 So after receiving the piece of bread, he went out immediately. And ait was night.
