¹But as for ^ayou, Bethlehem Ephrathah,

Too little to be among the clans of Judah,

From the ancient days.”

Isaiah 50:6

I ^agave My back to those who strike Me,

And My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard;

I did not hide My face from dishonor and spitting.

67 ^aThen they ^bspat in His face and beat Him with their fists; and others ¹slapped Him,

30 ^aAnd they spat on Him, and took the reed and began to beat Him on the head.
