Lamentations 2:14

Your ^aprophets have beheld for you

Worthless and ineffective visions;

And they have not ^buncovered your iniquity

So as to ¹return you from captivity,

But they have ^cbeheld for you worthless and misleading ²oracles.

Ezekiel 13:3

3 Thus says Lord Yahweh, “Woe to the ^awickedly foolish prophets who are walking after their own spirit and have ^bseen nothing.

Her heads pronounce ^ajudgment for a bribe,

And her ^bpriests instruct for a price,

And her prophets divine for money.

Yet they lean on Yahweh saying,

“^cIs not Yahweh in our midst?

Evil will not come upon us.”

Her prophets are ^areckless, treacherous men;

Her ^bpriests have profaned the sanctuary.

They have done violence to the law.
