Joel 3:19

Egypt will become a desolation,

And Edom will become a desolate wilderness,

Because of the ^aviolence ¹done to the sons of Judah,

In whose land they have shed innocent blood.

Obadiah 1:10

“Because of ^aviolence to your brother Jacob,

¹You will be covered with shame,

^bAnd you will be cut off forever.

11 Thus says Yahweh,

“For three transgressions of ^aEdom and for four

I will not turn back its punishment

Because he ^bpursued his brother with the sword

While he corrupted his compassion;

And his anger also ^ctore continually,

And he kept his wrath forever.

So I will send fire upon ^aTeman,

And it will consume the citadels of Bozrah.”
