Job 5:17

“Behold, how ^ablessed is the man whom God reproves,

So do not reject the ^bdiscipline of the ¹Almighty.

Proverbs 3:11

^aMy son, do not reject the ¹discipline of Yahweh

Or loathe His reproof,

For ^awhom Yahweh loves He reproves,

Even ^bas a father reproves the son in whom he delights.

5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,

“^aMy son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the ¹Lord,

Nor ^bfaint when you are reproved by Him;

^aFor those ^bwhom the ¹Lord loves He disciplines,

And He flogs every son whom He receives.”
