Job 35:6

If you have sinned, ^awhat do you accomplish against Him?

And if your transgressions are many, what do you do to Him?

Job 35:8

Your wickedness is for a man like yourself,

And your righteousness is for a son of man.

O my soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are ¹my Lord;

I ^ahave no good without You.”

As for the ¹^asaints who are in the earth,

They are the majestic ones ^bin whom is all my delight.

If I were hungry I would not tell you,

For the ^aworld is Mine, as well as its fullness.

Shall I eat the flesh of ¹^abulls

Or drink the blood of male goats?

Offer to God ^aa sacrifice of thanksgiving

And ^bpay your vows to the Most High;

^aWith whom did He take counsel and who ^bgave Him understanding?

And who taught Him in the path of justice and taught Him knowledge

And made Him know the way of understanding?

Behold, the ^anations are like a drop from a bucket,

And are counted as a speck of ^bdust on the scales;

Behold, He lifts up the coastlands like fine dust.

Even Lebanon is not enough to burn,

Nor its ^abeasts enough for a burnt offering.

^aAll the nations are as nothing before Him;

They are counted by Him as non‑existent and utterly formless.

^aTo whom then will you liken God?

Or what likeness will you compare with Him?
