Job 12:4

I am a ^alaughingstock to ¹my friends,

The one who called on God and He answered him;

The righteous and ^bblameless man is a laughingstock.

Job 16:10

They have ^aopened their mouth wide at me;

They have ^bstruck me on the cheek in reproach;

They have ^cmassed themselves against me.

My friends are my scoffers;

^aMy eye ¹weeps to God.

^aSurely mockers are with me,

And my eye ¹gazes on their provocation.

“But He has made me a ^abyword of the people,

And I am ¹one at whom men ^bspit.

Why do you ^apersecute me as God does,

And are not satisfied with my flesh?
