Hosea 4:15

Though you, Israel, play the harlot,

Do not let Judah become guilty;

Also do not go to ^aGilgal

Nor go up to Beth‑aven

^bAnd swear the oath:

“As Yahweh lives!”

Hosea 5:8

^aBlow the horn in ^bGibeah,

The trumpet in Ramah.

Make a loud shout at Beth‑aven:

“^cBehind you, Benjamin!”

The dweller of Samaria will fear

For the ¹^acalf of ^bBeth‑aven.

Indeed, its people will mourn for it,

And its ^cidolatrous priests ²will cry out over it,

Over its ^dglory, since it has gone into exile from them.
