Hebrews 5:1-3

For every high priest ^ataken from among men is appointed on behalf of men in ^bthings pertaining to God, in order to ^coffer both gifts and sacrifices ^dfor sins, 2 ^abeing able to deal gently with the ^bignorant and ^cmisguided, since he himself also is ¹^dbeset with weakness; 3 and because of it, he is obligated, ^ajust as for the people, to also offer sacrifices ^bfor sins in the same way for himself.
