Psalm 20:1

For the choir director. A Psalm of David.

May Yahweh answer you ^ain the day of distress!

May the ^bname of the ^cGod of Jacob set you securely on high!

Some boast in chariots and some in ^ahorses,

But ^bwe will ¹boast in the name of Yahweh, our God.

Though all the peoples walk

Each in the ^aname of his god,

As for us, ^bwe will walk

In the name of ^cYahweh our God forever and ever.
