Daniel 8:1-3

The Vision of the Ram and Goat

In the third year of the reign of Belshazzar the king, a vision appeared to me, ¹Daniel, after the one which appeared to me ²previously. 2 And I ^alooked in the vision. And it happened that while I was looking, I was in the citadel of ^bSusa, which is in the province of ^cElam; and I looked in the vision, and I myself was beside the Ulai ¹Canal. 3 Then I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, a ^aram which had two horns was standing in front of the ¹canal. Now the two horns were ²long, but one was ²longer than the other, with the ²longer one coming up last.
